Annie & Andre
There is a small village on the East coast of the North Island of New Zealand called Opoutere, it’s part of the Coromandel Peninsula. Andre’s parents use to run the YHA hostel there which you can see in the first picture. When he was born they planted a tree in the garden that is still there and Annie & Andre planted another tree on their wedding day next to each other, each guest wrote a note on a small parcel and this went into the whole where the tree was planted.
After the ceremony and tree planting we walked through the Opoutere pine forest and got some beautiful photos of the two of them. Later we headed back to have a banquet of food made by family and friends in a marquee for the rest of the evening. What an amazing weekend with great people.
